The Inn is located at 204 N Buchanan Blvd, Durham, NC 27701, centrally situated among many of Durham’s sights and attractions. We are only minutes from the heart of the downtown business and cultural district. We are across the street from Duke University, five minutes from the Duke University Medical Center and less than 15 minutes from Research Triangle Park and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

It will be our pleasure to help you with arrangements, reservations and transportation.

How many rooms does the Inn have?

There are 17 guest rooms, eleven spacious single rooms and six two-room suites. All of our rooms and suites have one queen or king-sized bed; the suites offer an additional queen-sized sofa bed. Please see our rooms comparison chart for more details.

Do you allow children to stay at The King's Daughters Inn?

Yes, we welcome children at The KDI. The two-room suites have a queen-sized pull-out bed. We can only accommodate two people in the single rooms.

Do you have rollaways or cribs?

Unfortunately we cannot provide these due to federal and state fire codes. However, children and additional guests can be accommodated on sofa beds in the 2-room suites.

Are pets welcome?

We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets. We are happy to recommend quality local boarding options. Our preferred boarder is the Creature Comforts Inn. We will of course welcome service dogs.

Are you Handicap Accessible?

The KDI is fully accessible with a street-level entrance and an elevator to upper floors. The Womack guest room is ADA-approved and has been specifically designed to accommodate people with disabilities.

Do you allow smoking?

We are a Non-Smoking Inn; smoking is prohibited in the guest rooms, hallways and common areas. Smoking inside the Inn will result in an immediate request to leave and an additional cleaning fee of $250. No refunds will be given for unused portions of the reservation. If you would like to smoke on the back patio, we will be happy to provide you with an ashtray.
